On Thursday, May 1, former Abington Senior High School standout Leanna Schenk’s current college team, the Kutztown Golden Bears, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the IUPUC Crimson Pride.

The game took place at Veterans Park. This was their first matchup against the Crimson Pride this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 12:30 p.m. at Veterans Park against Shepherd Rams.
