On Friday, Feb. 14, former Father Judge High School standout Anthony Jakeman’s current college team, the Goldey-Beacom Lightning, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mercy Mavericks.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Lightning’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Kutztown Golden Bears.
