Lakisha R. Sturgis, the Director of Community Care Management of Population Health at Temple University Health System, spoke with PHL17 to discuss the upcoming Black Men’s Wellness Day Event. This event is organized in collaboration with the African American Male Wellness Agency and is scheduled for June 7.

Sturgis highlighted that the event will provide free biometric health screenings for participants, emphasizing its importance in promoting health awareness among African American men.
