Social worker Caterina “Cat” Martin has been recognized with the TUH-Episcopal Campus’ Exceptional Employee Award. This award is given to employees who uphold organizational standards, show pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, set an example for peers, and are dedicated to service excellence.

Martin was acknowledged for her commitment to patients and her role, as well as her ability to inspire and mentor colleagues. Her supervisor, Kelly Kulp, MSW, LCSW, Director of Care Management, praised her dedication: “Cat has stayed late to complete complex cases that others may have picked up the next day. She covers the C6 unit incredibly but also has cross-covered Behavioral Health, the Emergency Department, and the Crisis Response Center many times without being asked. She takes initiative in every sense of her job. She motivates others around her and is constantly coaching less senior Social Workers.”
