Congressman Dwight Evans, who represents Pennsylvania’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets on September 4, 2025, addressing issues related to public health messaging and political discourse around the Covid vaccine.

In a tweet posted at 2:15 p.m. UTC, Evans wrote: “Following up on these https://t.co/F8hEVgMfv8”.

Later that day at 7:15 p.m. UTC, he addressed concerns about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s stance on Covid vaccines by tweeting: “Now when will RFK stop undermining the Covid vaccine? Why is he STILL getting in the way of one of Trump’s ‘greatest achievements’ of his first term? https://t.co/2sNgskgtx2”.

Dwight Evans has served as a member of the U.S. Congress since 2016 after succeeding Chaka Fattah. Before his tenure in Congress, Evans was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1981 to 2016. He was born in Philadelphia in 1954 and continues to reside there. In addition to his legislative experience, Evans graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975.
