Sam J. Stern, MD, an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, contributed his perspective to a Pew article focused on addressing obstacles to opioid use disorder treatment in Philadelphia. Dr. Stern was part of a panel discussion held on June 24th, organized by Pew and the University of Pennsylvania’s Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics.

“Reducing barriers to opioid use disorder treatment is critical for improving public health outcomes,” said Dr. Stern during the event.

Temple University Hospital announced that as of September 3, all labor and delivery services will be moved from its Main Campus at Broad and Ontario Streets to a new hospital location.
