Congressman Dwight Evans, who represents Pennsylvania’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed health care and Medicare issues in a series of posts on November 13, 2025.
In one post, Evans criticized recent legislative action, stating: “While this partisan CR failed to address the health care crisis millions of Americans are facing— this fight is not over! Last night, I signed a discharge petition to force a vote on extending the ACA tax credits that keep health care affordable. Will any Republicans join us?” (November 13, 2025).
He followed up later that evening by urging bipartisan cooperation: “Congressional Republicans need to work with Democrats to extend ACA tax credits through at least 2026 – time is running out! (2/2)” (November 13, 2025).
On the same day, Evans informed constituents about a change in schedule for an upcoming event: “#PA03: My Medicare Open Enrollment Telephone Town Hall has been RESCHEDULED to Wednesday, Dec. 3. Join us to get answers to your Medicare questions from guest experts! Call in at 888-480-3686 or sign up at https://t.co/nddo4oNQn3 https://t.co/WISiIEsyMQ” (November 13, 2025).
Evans has represented Pennsylvania’s 3rd District since replacing Chaka Fattah in Congress in 2016. Before his tenure in Washington, he served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for over three decades. Born and residing in Philadelphia and a graduate of La Salle University, Evans has focused much of his legislative attention on health care access and affordability throughout his career.
