On Friday, Feb. 14, former Olney Charter High School standouts Edwin Hernandez and James Germosen’s current college team, the Bluefield State Big Blues, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Calvin L. Bailey Field. This was their second matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Big Blues’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at Bowen Field against Carolina Bruins.
