Flyers announce Kids Day event with activities for young fans

On Saturday, January 31, the Philadelphia Flyers will host Kids Day presented by Xfinity at Wells Fargo Center. The event is aimed at young fans and will coincide with the team’s game against the Los Angeles Kings, which starts at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are still available on the team’s official website.

The celebration will feature Mr. Wolf from DreamWorks Animation’s film “The Bad Guys 2” as a special guest. Mr. Wolf will be available for photos at the Broad Street entrance before the game from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m., and again from noon to 12:30 p.m. Additionally, the first 500 fans under age 12 will receive copies of two books based on the movie: “Bad Guys Movie 2: Guide to the Good, the Bad, and Everything in Between” and “Bad Guys Movie 2 Novelization.”

Children attending Kids Day will have opportunities to participate throughout the event. Activities include a special edition of lookalike cam featuring popular characters and music selected by Mr. Hollywood DJ. Young fans who submitted artwork of Flyers players may see their creations displayed on the videoboard or shared on Flyers social media channels.

There are also exclusive offers for families attending Saturday’s game. All Xfinity Mobile Arena retail locations will offer a buy one, get one free deal on youth apparel.

Kid-friendly food options will be available around Xfinity Mobile Arena:
– Insomnia Cookies at section 118 will serve warm cookies and ice cream.
– Beach Treats at section 120 offers items like Mini Melts and corn dogs.
– Mites Bites at section 218 features kid-sized hot dogs, soda, and other traditional snacks.
– The Sweet Spot at section 216 presents a “Carnival Sundae” made with Turkey Hill soft serve ice cream, orange sprinkles, and “Gritty Eyes,” in recognition of the upcoming Flyers Charities Carnival scheduled for February 1.
