Fox Chase Cancer Center has been recognized in the 2025–2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals rankings, earning a #18 national ranking in Urology. The center was also named High Performing in Cancer, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, and five cancer-related procedures and conditions.

These recognitions highlight Fox Chase’s ongoing work in complex cancer care. The High Performing designation in Cancer is based on strong clinical outcomes and the institution’s multidisciplinary approach.

“These results speak to the strength of our programs and the skill and commitment of our faculty and staff,” said Robert Uzzo, MD, MBA, FACS, President and CEO of Fox Chase Cancer Center. “We are proud to be recognized for the care we deliver every day, and even prouder of the people who make that care possible.”

Uzzo added, “Recognition like this is one reflection of who we are—but the real measure is in the lives we touch. Our mission is clear, our foundation is strong, and our future is bright.”

Fox Chase Cancer Center is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1904, it operates as a training hospital under Dr. Robert Uzzo’s leadership. According to its 2022 annual report, Fox Chase performed over 5,000 surgeries and admitted more than 3,400 patients for treatment during that year.
