University of Pennsylvania freshman Mi Li was unanimously selected as a first-team All-Ivy player for the 2025-26 women’s golf season, according to an April 29 announcement from the Ivy League. The conference’s coaches voted on the selections.
This recognition highlights Li’s performance throughout her first year with Penn. The process for selecting All-Ivy teams changed last year; instead of being based solely on results at the Ivy League Championship, coaches now vote to determine honorees.
Li tied for fourth place out of 36 golfers at the Ivy League Championship and earned a spot on the All-Championship Team. Her three-round total of nine-over-par 225 is tied for the fifth-best score by a Penn player at this event in program history. Statistically, she ranked third among all players in par-4 scoring and was also tied for third with 36 pars over the weekend.
During her freshman season, Li played in all eight tournaments—four each in fall and spring—and posted a team-low stroke average of 73.9 across 22 rounds. She recorded nine rounds at or below par and finished as Penn’s top scorer in three out of four spring events. Additionally, she had six top-seven finishes during the year and shared individual medalist honors at the Rutgers Invitational.
Senior Bridget O’Keefe was recognized as Penn’s representative for Academic All-Ivy honors. Princeton freshman Thanana Kotchasanmanee received both Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards, while Columbia’s coaching staff was named Coaching Staff of the Year.
Penn ended its season with participation in the Ivy League Championship held last weekend at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey.
