University of Pennsylvania field hockey player Julia Ryan has been selected for the 2025 NFHCA Division 1 Senior Team. The announcement was made on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recognized 38 senior student-athletes from Division 1 programs across the country. The organization noted that the team honors “the competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence of each athlete within their programs.”

Ryan served as a captain for the Penn Quakers during the season and led her team in both goals and points. She earned Second Team All-Ivy honors for the third time in her collegiate career.

During her four years at Penn, Ryan recorded 18 goals, 15 assists, and a total of 51 points.
