Martina White, a Pennsylvania lawmaker, highlighted recent legislative efforts to provide tax relief for working families and seniors in a series of posts on April 13 and 14, 2026.
On April 13, White stated: “I worked across the aisle to pass a Pennsylvania Earned Income Tax Credit because working families deserve tax relief. Now the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit is delivering nearly $193 million back into the pockets of nearly 1 million residents across our state.” She also shared an additional link later that evening: “https://t.co/jbjhTFv4Zn”.
The following day, White addressed support for older Pennsylvanians: “No senior should be forced out of their home after a lifetime of hard work. That’s why I supported the largest bipartisan expansion of PA’s Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program in nearly 20 years, increasing rebates up to $1,000 and expanding eligibility to 175,000 more residents.”
The Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit was created as part of an effort to mirror aspects of the federal Earned Income Tax Credit at the state level. This initiative aims to support low- and moderate-income workers by reducing their tax burden and providing direct financial benefits. The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program has been expanded over time with bipartisan support to help seniors and people with disabilities remain in their homes by offering increased rebates and broader eligibility.
White’s posts reflect ongoing policy actions intended to address affordability challenges faced by many Pennsylvania residents.
