On Friday, Feb. 14, former Olney Charter High School standouts Edwin Hernandez and James Germosen’s current college team, the Bluefield State Big Blues, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Calvin L. Bailey Field. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Big Blues’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 2:35 p.m. at Calvin L. Bailey Field against West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.
