The University of Pennsylvania has released the Ivy League segment of its 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule. Fran McCaffery, the John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men’s Basketball, announced the slate for his program.

“Season ticket renewals are now available for 14 games at The Palestra, a package that includes the three games the Quakers will play in the Cathedral Classic over Thanksgiving weekend. In addition to the Cathedral Classic—which this year features Penn as well as Hofstra, Merrimack, and Big 5 rival La Salle—the Quakers will play four other non-conference games at The Palestra to go with their usual seven home Ivy League matchups after the New Year,” according to McCaffery.

Penn’s first conference game under McCaffery will be against Princeton at Jadwin Gym on Monday, January 5. The team then returns home to face Brown on Saturday, January 10. Away games against Dartmouth and Harvard follow, with the Harvard matchup scheduled for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Home contests include Yale on January 24 before road games at Columbia and Cornell close out January. In February, Penn plays three consecutive home games—Princeton, Columbia, and Cornell—followed by a single away game at Yale on February 21 and concluding home matches against Dartmouth and Harvard.

The regular Ivy League season concludes with an away game at Brown on March 7. The Ivy League Tournament is set for March 14-15 at Cornell’s Newman Arena in Ithaca, New York.

Penn begins its season hosting Rowan University on Friday, November 7 at The Palestra.
