The University of Pennsylvania’s men’s lightweight rowing team concluded its fall season at the Princeton Chase regatta on Lake Carnegie this Sunday. The event featured three-mile, head-style races with teams from several universities.
Penn’s lightweight crew competed in multiple categories throughout the day. In the morning session, four Penn boats participated in the Lightweight Eights race, where the ‘A’ boat finished second out of 20 teams, trailing only Cornell. The other Penn boats placed sixth, tenth, and fifteenth.
In the afternoon, Penn entered a lightweight boat in the Open Eights – Round 2 event, finishing fifth among twelve crews. The program also fielded five boats in the Men’s Open Fours category, with their top two boats placing sixth and seventh out of 35 entries.
