The University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Sectional Championships in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, from November 6 to 9. The event features schools from central, east, south, and west sections, with participants vying for places in the NCAA Championships.

Senior Manfredi Graziani and junior Aaron Sandler will partner again for the doubles competition as the top-seeded pair. Their last outing together resulted in a loss to Semen Aginskiy and Venedikt Tsirikidze of Saint John’s, but they are aiming to replicate their strong performance from the ITA All-Americans tournament held in September.

Another doubles team from Penn, sophomore Shaurya Bharadwaj and freshman Vojtech Vales, will also participate this weekend. The duo has achieved six wins so far at both the ITA Northeast Regional and Ivy Masters tournaments.

In singles play, Graziani will compete with hopes of securing a place in the NCAA Championships.
