Penn men’s basketball reveals non-conference schedule for upcoming season

The University of Pennsylvania’s men’s basketball team has released the non-conference portion of its 2025-26 schedule. Head Coach Fran McCaffery announced the details, which include several notable matchups.

The Quakers will participate in the Cathedral Classic, facing off against La Salle, Hofstra, and Merrimack. They will also host four other non-conference games at The Palestra alongside their regular seven home Ivy League games.

Key games include a matchup with Big 5 rival Saint Joseph’s at The Palestra and a short trip to play Drexel. The team will also compete in the third annual Big 5 Classic tripleheader at the Wells Fargo Center in December. Road trips are scheduled against American University, Providence, and Rutgers, marking their first meeting since 1975.

The season opener is set for November 7 against Rowan University at The Palestra.
