Both men’s rowing programs at the University of Pennsylvania will have representation at the upcoming Under-23 World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland, scheduled from July 23 to 27.

In the heavyweight category, recent graduate Sam Sullivan will row for the United States in the men’s four. Sullivan was previously part of the U.S. Men’s Eight at last year’s U23 Championships and helped secure a silver medal in Saint Catharines, Ontario. His performance earned him recognition as the USRowing U23 National Team Male Athlete of the Year.

In the lightweight category, rising senior Ian Holly is set to compete in the lightweight double sculls for the United States alongside Yale senior Will Konopka.
