The University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s track and field teams concluded the second day of the Paul Donahue Invitational in Chester, Pa., on April 18 with several top performances across events.

The event highlighted strong showings from both squads. Standout results included Daniella Oyenuga’s victories in the women’s 100-meter and 200-meter races, each with personal-best times that placed her among the program’s all-time leaders. Oyenuga finished the 100 meters in 11.67 seconds, ranking fifth in school history, and later ran a 23.75 in the 200 meters for her second win of the day. Milan Ramey followed closely behind with a time of 23.87 for second place.

On the men’s side, freshman Simeon Adams swept both sprint events, setting personal bests by clocking a time of 10.43 seconds in the men’s 100 meters—sixth fastest ever at Penn—and winning the men’s 200 meters with a time of 21.21 seconds, good for tenth on Penn’s all-time list.

Other notable performances included Annika Topchy taking first place in the women’s 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.42 (ninth fastest at Penn), then teaming up with Ava Nebel, Ramey, and Simone Castelluccio to win the women’s four-by-400 meter relay in a combined time of 3:48.78.

Sarah Fischer won the women’s three-thousand meter steeplechase with a personal-best mark that places her sixth on Penn’s program list this season (10:35.34). In field events, Kampton Kam cleared two-point-one-two meters to claim victory in men’s high jump while Samantha Strydesky led women’s high jump at one-point-six-five meters; Rebecca Hoover topped women’s pole vault by clearing three-point-eight-five meters—a new personal best.

In other competitions over the weekend, Jailyn Milord posted an Ivy League-leading time of fifty-two point eighty-six seconds competing at Florida’s Tom Jones Invitational; Rianna Floyd finished thirteenth out of forty-three athletes there as well (53.78). Senior Jake Rose represented Penn at California’s Mt. SAC Relays decathlon where he scored seven-thousand-three-hundred-sixty-two points including first place marks in shot put.
