Penn women’s lacrosse team earns IWLCA academic honors

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized the University of Pennsylvania women’s lacrosse program with academic honors. The program was named an Academic Honor Squad, and eight Quakers earned spots on the Honor Roll.

Penn concluded the 2024-25 academic year with a cumulative team GPA of 3.68, placing them among 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA recognized as honor squads by the IWLCA. Teams must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher to qualify for this distinction.

Eight student-athletes from Penn were included in the honor roll, joining 1,155 others from 123 institutions in Division I. Eligibility for this recognition requires student-athletes to be juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50. The honored athletes from Penn are Anna Brandt, Erika Chung, Patricia Columbia-Walsh, Natasha Gorriaran, Grace Lillis, Gracie Smith, Erin Sullivan, and Natasha Yajadda.
