Philadelphia Inquirer has published an article discussing a recent analysis by the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council. This analysis highlights 15 hospitals in Pennsylvania that obtained at least 20 percent of their patient revenue from Medicaid in 2024. Among these are Temple University Hospital and five additional Philadelphia-area hospitals, including Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Additionally, it is important to note that starting September 3, at 8:00 AM, Temple University Hospital – Main Campus (Broad and Ontario Streets) will cease Labor and Delivery services. All childbirth services will be moved to a new hospital location.
