The latest evaluation of Major League Baseball farm systems has ranked the top organizations with promising outfield prospects. This analysis follows a recent update to the Top 100 prospects, team Top 30 rankings, and overall farm system standings.
Among all teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers lead in outfield talent. They have four players in the Top 100: Josue De Paula (No. 12), Zyhir Hope (No. 19), Eduardo Quintero (No. 55), and Mike Sirota (No. 66). The organization also features James Tibbs III and Ching-Hsien Ko among their top ten outfielders, bringing depth as well as quality to their prospect pool.
The Seattle Mariners are one of three teams with multiple Top 100 outfielders, led by Lazaro Montes at No. 29 and Jonny Farmelo at No. 82. Yorger Bautista is seen as a potential future standout after signing for $2.1 million earlier this year.
For the Minnesota Twins, Walker Jenkins (No. 14) and Emmanuel Rodriguez (No. 71) anchor their group of outfield prospects despite concerns over injuries affecting consistency.
The Chicago Cubs’ Owen Caissie ranks at No. 45 in the Top 100 and is joined by Kevin Alcántara and first-round pick Ethan Conrad among their top ten prospects.
Carson Benge leads the New York Mets’ outfielder group after a strong season across three minor league levels, joined by A.J. Ewing and several others providing depth throughout their system.
Chase DeLauter heads up the Cleveland Guardians’ list but has missed time due to injury this season; Jaison Chourio and Jace LaViolette round out their leading prospects.
The Tampa Bay Rays’ Theo Gillen is adjusting to center field after playing shortstop in high school; he’s shown speed on the bases but has been sidelined recently with an injury.
Justin Crawford represents the Philadelphia Phillies as their only Top 100 outfielder at No. 68: “But he’s swiped 40 bases in three straight seasons and he’s second in the Triple-A International League with his .334 average.” Dante Nori and Gabriel Rincones Jr., along with four other players further down in organizational rankings, provide additional depth for Philadelphia’s system.
Jhostynxon Garcia stands atop Boston Red Sox’s list at No.77 following consecutive strong power-hitting seasons while international signee Justin Gonzales has made quick progress through lower levels of minor league play.
Max Clark gives Detroit Tigers a quality presence as baseball’s highest-ranked outfield prospect at No.9; Cris Rodriguez is another notable name after receiving a franchise-record international signing bonus before performing well during his debut professional season.
