On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Abington Senior High School standout Ryan Van Buren’s current college team, the Maryland Terrapins, won 19-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercyhurst Lakers.

The game took place at Shipyard Park. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Terrapins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium against Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
