On Saturday, April 19, former Springside Chestnut Hill Academy standout Jakob Runkel’s current college team, the Grinnell Pioneers, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Beloit Buccaneers.

The game took place at The Ballpark at Strong Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1:30 p.m. at The Ballpark at Strong Stadium against Beloit Buccaneers.
