SEPTA is promoting the Broad Street Line as the main way to reach events at Citizens Bank Park. The NRG Station, located at Broad & Pattison, is about a seven-minute walk from the stadium. Trains run every eight to ten minutes, and travel time from City Hall to NRG Station on a local train is around 15 minutes.

For major events, SEPTA operates Sports Express service on the Broad Street Line with stops at Fern Rock Transportation Center, Olney Transportation Center, Erie, Girard, Spring Garden, Race-Vine, City Hall, Walnut-Locust and NRG Station. After games end, northbound trains are available to provide both local and express service back toward Center City and Fern Rock Transportation Center.

The fare for a one-way trip on the Broad Street Line is $2.50 in cash. Quick Trips—one-way tickets valid only on the Market-Frankford and Broad Street Lines for the date of purchase—can be bought from Fare Kiosks in every station using credit/debit cards or cash.

SEPTA also recommends using a SEPTA Key Card: “Your best bet is a SEPTA Key Card. Like a Quick Trip, it is also available from the Fare Kiosks but unlike a Quick Trip, it is reloadable and reusable – making it good all season. The SEPTA Key Travel Wallet allows you to pay as you go and you’ll receive a discount for each ride ($2 versus the $2.50 cash fare). Register your SEPTA Key at septakey.org and set-up auto reload so your SEPTA Key is ready to go all season long! Please note, funds in your Travel Wallet can only be used to pay for one (1) person. It cannot be tapped multiple times to pay for anyone traveling with you.”

Further information about registering or reloading the card can be found at https://www.septakey.org/.

All Regional Rail Lines as well as other transit options like the Market-Frankford Line, PATCO, trolleys and bus routes connect conveniently with the Broad Street Line. Free weekend parking is offered at most Regional Rail lots. Fans can also reach Citizens Bank Park by taking SEPTA Bus Routes 4 or 17.
