Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Poll Tuesday, and the Arcadia University men's soccer program came in at third with 47 total points. Lycoming claimed the top spot in the poll with 61 points and five first-place votes, followed by Stevens with 59 points and four first-place votes.

The new-look MAC Freedom features nine teams for the first time since 2008, as Arcadia and Lycoming rejoin the conference while Eastern transitions into the MAC Commonwealth. The Knights open the 2021 campaign at Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday, Sept. 1 before welcoming York to Glenside for the home-opener on Saturday, Sept. 4. Arcadia begins MAC Freedom play at Lycoming on Oct. 2 to kick off an eight-game conference slate over the course of five weeks.
The 2021 MAC Freedom Men's Soccer Championship is set for Nov. 1-6. The top-five seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
