Have you ever wanted to learn about the life cycle of a Rainbow Trout? Join us to observe the life cycle and learn about water quality and more! This month our program will take a special trip to the Stony Creek Anglers' trout nursery! This is right on site at the Farm Park. Get a chance to see the full sized trout that are ready to be released into the creek. Also assist in feeding the trout! This month’s dates are March 18 and March 30. Once the trout are old enough, we will release them into Kepner Creek! Norristown Farm Park’s participation in the Trout in the Classroom program was made possible through a partnership between the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) and the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited (PATU).
All ages; Free
Limited space - registration required. Please register for this event by contacting Rebecca at Rebecca.Blacketter@montgomerycountypa.gov. Meeting location will be provided once you register. Also reach out for directions if needed! GPS does not always take you to the right location of the park. Our educator, Rebecca can make sure you get where you need to be
