Congressman Dwight Evans, who represents Pennsylvania’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared his views on social media regarding President Trump's actions and policies. Serving since 2016, Evans has been vocal about various issues impacting his constituents.

On March 4, 2025, Congressman Evans expressed his disapproval of President Trump’s conduct. He stated that due to Trump's "unlawfully and legally questionably" actions such as "mass federal firings" and withholding "federal funding already appropriated by law," he would not attend the President's speech in person that evening. In their conversation, Kathy described proposed Republican cuts as an "unfathomably cruel abandonment." Evans encouraged listeners to hear their exchange via a linked audio recording.
