The study, published in the Journal of Rheumatology, examined health service use among individuals with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) or ankylosing spondylitis. It specifically found that patients residing in rural areas are more likely to visit emergency rooms for condition-related symptoms compared to those living in more populated regions.
