Temple Health integrates spirometry in lung cancer screenings for early COPD detection

Becker’s Hospital Review conducted an interview with Dr. Nathaniel Marchetti, the Medical Director of the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit at Temple University Hospital. The conversation focused on Temple Health's new approach to lung cancer screenings. This approach integrates spirometry during lung cancer screening to help detect early Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in populations considered high-risk.
