Rajiv Bhuta, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, shared his insights in a Medscape article regarding a study published by the Annals of Internal Medicine. The study revealed that patient navigation was more effective than traditional care methods in enhancing follow-up colonoscopy rates following an abnormal stool test result.
