Temple Health recently organized a series of ice cream socials across its hospitals as part of employee appreciation and to celebrate a friendly competition between campuses. On July 16, staff at all Temple Health hospitals received free ice cream, including Dove bars and fruit pops, as a gesture of thanks for their work.
The events also marked the conclusion of the CHH-Jeanes Campus Selfie Challenge, held during Nurses & Hospital Week. In this challenge, teams from Temple University Hospital–Jeanes Campus and Chestnut Hill competed to submit themed selfies for points. Jeanes Campus won the challenge.
Both Chestnut Hill and Jeanes campuses were rewarded with ice cream socials. Leadership teams from both locations served employees at each campus.
A statement from Temple Health said: “It was a reminder of what we’ve known since we were kids: there’s nothing better than ice cream to bring us all together!”
