Temple Health’s financial performance for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 was the subject of a recent article in The Philadelphia Inquirer. The report highlighted improvements compared to the same period last year.

Michael A. Young, MHA, FACHE, President & CEO of Temple Health, commented on the results in his interview with the Inquirer. “We’re pretty happy where we are,” said Young. He noted that revenue exceeded budget projections and labor costs were on target during the first quarter, marking the first time this has happened in several years.

Labor and delivery services have recently moved from Temple University Hospital–Main Campus at Broad & Ontario to a new women and families hospital.
