Beginning September 3, Temple University Hospital – Main Campus will cease Labor and Delivery services, transferring all childbirth services to a new hospital location. Meanwhile, the Temple Faculty Physicians C.A.R.E.S. Award for May 2025 was presented to Vicmary Camacho and Juana Miranda-Sanchez for their exceptional contributions.

Vicmary Camacho, a Medical Assistant in the Department of Neurology, received recognition for her compassion and dedication. Her nomination highlighted her ability to build trust and foster strong relationships with patients and physicians through collaboration and high-quality care.

Juana Miranda-Sanchez, a Medical Assistant in the OB/GYN Department, was honored for her outstanding work ethic. Her peers described her as an exceptional team player who positively impacts patient care with unwavering dedication.

Both recipients were nominated by their colleagues and endorsed by TFP leadership for exemplifying TFP’s core values of empathy, collaboration, and service excellence.
