Beginning on September 3, Temple University Hospital – Main Campus will cease providing Labor and Delivery services. These services will be transferred to a new hospital location.

A recent article in Cardiology Advisor discussed strategies for anticoagulation in patients with compromised renal function. The article highlighted a study led by Dr. Mingyue He, an Internal Medicine Resident at Temple University Hospital. Dr. He’s team conducted a retrospective cohort study of patients with end-stage kidney disease and atrial fibrillation. The study found that the use of anticoagulants significantly increased the odds of hospitalization for gastrointestinal bleeding compared to non-use.
