Twenty Philadelphia high school students recently engaged in a week-long mini-medical school program organized by the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. The initiative aimed to introduce participants to various medical professions. As part of the program, on July 15th, students received training in CPR and first aid. The event was covered by local media outlets 6abc and Fox 29.

Additionally, an important update from Temple University Hospital was announced: “Beginning at 8:00 AM on September 3, Temple University Hospital – Main Campus (Broad and Ontario Streets) will no longer provide Labor and Delivery services. All childbirth services will be relocated to our new hospital location.”
