Women's Lacrosse Named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, Three Earn Honor Roll Selections

Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement on July 27.

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2020-21 Academic Honor Squads and Academic Honor Roll selections Tuesday afternoon. The Arcadia University women's lacrosse program was one of 319 institutions across NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA to earn an Academic Honor Squad nod, which requires a team grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the 2020-21 academic year. This year's honor marks the sixth in the last nine seasons for the Knights.

The Knights also garnered three Academic Honor Roll selections in Emily Covert, Mariya Occorso, and Diana Perry who were among 918 student-athletes from 189 different NCAA Division III institutions to earn the honor. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
