Women’s Ice Hockey Places Five on All-MAC; White Named Co-Rookie of the Year

Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement on Mar. 3.

In its first season of competition, the Arcadia University women's ice hockey team had five players, all first-years, named to the All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) teams with Karahkwenhawe White earning Rookie of the Year status, as announced by the conference office on Thursday morning.

 

White was named a First Team All-MAC forward and the Co-Rookie of the Year after notching 18 points (sixth in MAC) on 10 goals and eight assists (tied for eighth) across 24 games. White tied for the team lead with four power-play goals, which was the second-most in the MAC, and notched one game-winner while blocking 29 shots on the defensive end.

 

Bridgit Terry was named First Team All-MAC on defense after leading the Knight blueliners with three goals and 10 assists (fourth) for 13 points. Terry scored two power-play goals and one game-winner over 25 games-played while stepping in front of 32 shots in Arcadia's zone.

 

Morganne Dee was named Second Team All-MAC as a forward after leading the team with 11 goals, (tied for second in the MAC), 19 points (top-five), and eight assists (top-eight). Dee kept the offensive pressure on opponents all season, leading the MAC in shots-per-game averaging 5.13 and putting home two game-winners. Dee ranked second in goals-per-game with 0.46.

 

Berklee Hibbard earned Second Team All-MAC honors at forward after leading the team and ranking third in the conference with 21 points and 12 assists with nine goals. Hibbard tied with White ranking second in the conference with four power-play goals. Hibbard ranked third in assists-per-game with 0.46 and fifth in goals-per-game at 0.35. Hibbard scored two game-winners, and blocked 11 shots in the defensive zone.

 

Hannah Bergeron was named the Second Team All-MAC goaltender after finishing her first year with six wins. Bergeron ranked third in the MAC with a 2.61 goals-aganst-average and fourth with a .929 save percentage and fourth with 471 saves across 828 minutes, the third-most in the conference.
