Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement Apr. 12.
The Arcadia University women's tennis team fell in a close 5-4 match to FDU-Florham in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play on Tuesday afternoon.
Kate Wyszkowski took a dominating victory at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-1.
Faith Rineer took a convincing 6-1,6-1 No. 5 singles win while Bridgit Terry secured the victory in N0. 6 singles in a tiebreaker, 7-5, 4-6, 10-6.
Rineer teamed with Tatum Marino at No. 3 doubles for an 8-1 victory.
The Knights return to the court next Wednesday when they travel to Stevens for a 4:00 p.m. MAC Freedom match.
