Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement on May 21.
The No. 5/6 Arcadia baseball team defeated No. 16/17 Oswego, 10-7 on Saturday afternoon to advance to Sunday's NCAA Division III Glenside Regional final.
The win improves the Knights record to 40-7 on the season.
Hunter Sibley got the start on the mound for Arcadia and picked up his eighth victory of the season, pitching eight innings, giving up five runs on eight hits and no walks. He struck out five Lakers en route to the victory. Owen Margolis entered the game in the ninth inning and closed out the win for the Knights.
Zachary Sekelick and Matt Donchez each tallied three hits and an RBI for Arcadia. Ryan Smolen hit a two-run home run for his third homer of the year. Alex Madera, Justin Massielo, Connor Cheeseman and Nick Opalkowski all added RBI's in the win for the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Smolen's two-run home run opened the scoring for the Knights in the fourth inning to give them a 2-0 lead. Oswego answered with two of its own in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game.
- The Knights then scored multiple runs for the second consecutive inning as they took a 5-2 lead in the fifth. Donchez opened the scoring with an RBI double. Madera then drove him home with a sacrifice fly. Sekelick closed out the scoring with an infield single that the Oswego catcher threw into right field allowing him to come all the way home.
- Arcadia added two more runs in the seventh inning as Sekelick drove home a run with a single and Massielo had a sacrifice fly to extend the Knights lead to 7-2.
- Oswego got within 7-5 in the eighth inning with a three-run home run.
- The Knights added some insurance in the top of the ninth as Cheeseman had a sacrifice fly and Opalkowski had a two-RBI single to give Arcadia a 10-5 lead.
- The Lakers hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth, but Arcadia held on to advance to tomorrow's regional final.
