The Arcadia University men's swim wins 148-119 over University of Scranton in their season opener. Four Knights earned a combined seven first place finishes Saturday afternoon to continue their win streak over DIII competition.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kevin Foley finishes first in both the 100-yard breaststroke event (1:01.67) and the 200-yard breaststroke event (2:16.59).
- Tyler Mui and Bailey Orehosky finished in 2nd and 3rd behind Foley in the 200-yard breaststroke to put Knights in the top three spots for this event.
- Janis Kirsis earned two wins on the day. First in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.03) and then in the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.17).
- Another Knight to finish first in two events was Shane Stauffer. He hit the wall first in the 100-yard freestyle (49.17) and in the 100-yard backstroke (55.22).
- Dylan Alexander finished the 1000-yard freestyle event with a first place finish and a time of 10:36.43, which was over 6 seconds faster than the second place finisher.
