The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has announced its Players of the Week for October 17, 2022. This includes Players of the Week in Cross Country, Field Hockey, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer and Women’s Volleyball as well as Honor Roll selections in each sport.
This week’s selections included contests from Monday, October 10 through Sunday, October 16. A total of 45 student-athletes were recognized for their performances.
Cross Country
Men’s Runner of the Week
Corey Scochin | So. | Keystone College | Scott Township, Pa./Holly Cross
Scochin paced the Giants at 23rd overall, finishing in 31:23.90, at Friday's Blue & Gold Invitational hosted by Wilkes.
Honor Roll
Valley Forge’s Ricardo Nunez ran at the Border Battle at Rowan. He placed 50th and ran the 8K open in 28:43:3.…Cairn’s Titus Dingle posted an 8K time of 32:57 to finish 53rd in the 137-runner field at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Race on Saturday.

Kopec finished in third-place overall at the Border Battle at Rowan with a 6K time of 24:57:5.
Honor Roll
Cedar Crest’s Jonquil Loeffelholz led the Falcons at the Blue & Gold Invitational, posting a 10th-place finish in a time of 26:38.40..…Cairn’s AyliGrace Munro Collected another top-ten finish after clocking in with a 6K time of 25:50 to finish 10th in the 110-runner field.

Kiley Marone | Sr. | Cedar Crest College | F | Mohrsville, Pa./ Tulpehocken
Marone had a 12-point week with six goals in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. She put up four goals in a 10-1 win over Bryn Athyn and added a pair in a 5-0 shutout of Lancaster Bible.
Defensive Player of the Week
Amber Cieri | Sr. | Cedar Crest College | MF | Slatington, Pa./ Northern Lehigh
Cieri paced a Cedar Crest defense that limited its opponents to just four total shots in two CSAC wins during the week. She also helped out offensively for the Falcons by tallying 10 points.
Honor Roll
Keystone’s Maria Tomada notched two goals on four shots in Wednesday's 3-2 OT loss to Ramapo. She caged the opening score in the 25th minute and tied up the contest late in the 59th minute to send the contest to OT.…Wilson’s Alexis Pflumm scored three goals and an assist in a 5-2 win over Sweet Briar in CSAC competition.…Keystone’s Karley Cresswell made a huge defensive save with 24 seconds left in regulation to keep Ramapo off the board and send Wednesday's contest to OT against the Roadrunners.…Lancaster Bible’s Alyssa Hamilton recorded a defensive save against Cedar Crest.

Possu tallied four goals over two games, including a hat-trick in an 8-0 victory over Wilson. He totaled three assists for an 11-point week.
Defensive Player of the Week
Kameron Clark | Gr. | Cairn University | GK | Ewing, N.J./Ewing
Clark did not concede a goal over two matchups for Cairn enroute to two shutouts in the week for the Highlanders. He tallied seven saves in a win against Bryn Athyn and then recorded two more saves in a scoreless draw against Saint Elizabeth.

Keystone’s Leo Arrieta scored both of Keystone's goals in their 3-2 defeat at Rosemont… Cairn’s Jesse Brittain Tallied two assists in Cairn's 3-0 win over Bryn Athyn on Wednesday… Bryn Athyn’s Andre Fisher scored the equalizer late in the second half against Valley Forge in a 1-1 game… Saint Elizabeth’s Stephen Valencia recorded 13 saves in two matches during the week… Bryn Athyn’s Tim Ragan was a critical force defensively for the Lions this week anchoring a defense that allowed four total goals in two games… Rosemont’s Brady Hochman made two saves in a win over Keystone… Clarks Summit’s Kristian Figueroa played a vital role in Clarks Summit's draw against Wilson. He made 5 saves and was crucial in keeping a clean sheet in this match.

Bailey Miller | Sr. | Wilson College | Sterling, Va./Washington
Miller scored four goals in big win over Saint Elizabeth on Saturday. She turned the hat trick in the first 30 minutes of the game before she scored her fourth in the second half. Her four goals were part of five shots on goal in the match.
Defensive Player of the Week
Rebecca Marakovitz | So. | Wilson College | GK | New Market, Md./ Linganore
Marakovitz recorded a pair of shutouts as Wilson went unbeaten during the week. She recorded a pair of saves in the win against Saint Elizabeth while playing all 180 possible minutes during the week.

Cedar Crest’s Taylor Wolf tallied five points over a pair of conference wins for the Falcons. She registered an assist in a 2-0 win over Cairn and pitched in a pair of goals in a 6-0 triumph over Rosemont… Cairn’s Micaela Prate scored two goals and tallied two assists in Cairn's 10-0 victory at home over Valley Forge on Saturday… Bryn Athyn’s Allyson Paul netted a hat trick in her lone conference game this week in a 10-0 win over Valley Forge… Rosemont’s Maggie Feaser tallied a goal for the Ravens in their 4-1 win over Saint. Elizabeth… Keystone’s Annie Metzger made 11 saves on 20 shots in Monday's 1-0 defeat to Lancaster Bible… Cedar Crest’s Lauren Makely led the Falcons to a pair of conference shutouts, making three saves over the two games… Cairn’s Isabelle Lazor recorded 17 saves in a 2-0 loss to Cedar Crest… Bryn Athyn’s Breanna Smith posted a clean sheet for the Lions in a 10-0 win over Valley Forge.… Rosemont’s Madison Boltersdorf helped lead the Ravens to a 4-1 victory over Saint Elizabeth.

Emma Mueller | So. | Notre Dame of Maryland University | S/OPP | Irrigon, Ore./Irrigon Senior
Mueller Filled up the stat sheet during a 3-0 week for the Gators, totaling 48 assists, 19 kills, 11 aces and 24 digs to help NDMU take over sole possession of first place in the CSAC standings. She led team with a .333 attack percentage while contributing seven kills, 21 assists, 12 digs and three aces in Wednesday's big 3-1 win at Cairn, helping the Gators hand the Highlanders their first CSAC defeat. Mueller added nine more kills, 21 assists and three aces in a four-set win over Albright the following evening. She tied for the team lead with five aces, and topped the team in digs (8) during a weekend sweep at Bryn Athyn which increased NDMU's overall win streak to 10 matches.

Jade Stewart | So. | Notre Dame of Maryland University | OH | Hagerstown, Md./ Saint Maria Goretti Catholic
Stewart tied for the team lead with 40 digs, and also contributed 19 kills and eight aces during a 3-0 week which helped NMDU take over sole possession of first place in the CSAC standings. She had a career-best defensive performance during a battle between the last two unbeaten teams in CSAC play on Wednesday, totaling 31 digs to help the Gators knock off Cairn in four sets on the road. The 31 digs were the second most by a CSAC student-athlete on the year, and they were the most in a four-set contest while also adding eight kills in that victory. Stewart tallied seven digs, a team-high four aces and nine kills in a four-set win over Albright the following evening. She added four aces, two digs and two kills in limited action Saturday at Bryn Athyn, as NDMU played its whole roster during a 3-0 sweep.

Keystone’s Rebecca Jackson totaled 38 kills (3.17 per set) with 28 digs (2.33 per set) this week, including a career-high 16 kills at Cairn on Saturday… Saint Elizabeth’s Onye Bosco recorded 16 kills vs Clarks Summit, 11 kills vs Wilson with 3 aces.… Cairn’s Allison Barnes hit .359 with 31 kills over two matches… Wilson’s Kelsee Schouppe tallied 19 kills, eight service aces, 13 digs, and three blocks over three matches for the Falcons… Wilson’s Deah Menedis had a huge week as Wilson went unbeaten in CSAC action during a 2-1 week. The highlight came in a five set, come-from-behind thriller in which she chalked up a career-best 30 kills to help defeat Saint Elizabeth. She added eight kills in a sweep of Valley Forge earlier in the week… Keystone’s Hannah Ankerbrand-Ochoa totaled 30 digs, 76 assists, six aces, and two blocks this week.… Saint Elizabeth’s Kristina Ashton totaled 24 digs over two matches (12 digs each match) against Clarks Summit and Wilson from the setter position… Cairn’s Caroline Conrad totaled 37 digs in four sets (4.63/set) as the Highlanders went 1-1 on the week…
Cedar Crest’s Rebekka Sanchez-Cast recorded 38 digs over three matches for the Falcons, highlighted by a week-high of 14 against Cabrini… Rosemont’s Isabella Reilly finished with 12 digs for the week including six in a midweek loss… Wilson’s Alexis Buckley led the team defensively in all three matches during a 2-1 week in which Wilson went unbeaten in CSAC play. She registered 15 digs in a five set, come-from-behind win against St. Elizabeth and added 11 more at Valley Forge.
