The request specifically asked for a list of all payments made to vendors from January 1, 2024, until September 26, 2024. The desired information includes the vendor's name, the date of the transaction, a description of the transaction, and the amount paid.
As representatives of DeKalb Times, we believe access to public records is crucial for fulfilling our professional responsibilities. These include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Given our role in disseminating information to the public as a media organization, we requested a fee waiver for this FOIA request.
