Later that evening, Evans addressed the subject of tariff powers in a tweet posted at 8:46 PM, saying, "The tariff power belongs with Congress and he should stop using fake 'emergencies' to damage America’s economy." At the same time, he posted, "I’m urging him to call off his new round of tariffs before he drives up more prices – and drives away more PA jobs!"
