San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama sidelined due to deep vein thrombosis

Riyaz Bashir, MD, FACC, who is the Director of Vascular and Endovascular Medicine at Temple University Hospital and a Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, has shared his insights with PhillyVoice regarding San Antonio Spurs player Victor Wembanyama's recent diagnosis. Wembanyama has been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and will not be playing for the rest of the season. Dr. Bashir emphasized that he has not personally treated Wembanyama.
