Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple University Hospital have announced the appointment of Caryn Karff as the new Administrative Director of Radiology. Her role will cover Fox Chase Cancer Center, Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus, and Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital.

Caryn Karff brings extensive experience to her new position. Before joining Fox Chase and Temple, she served as Director of Radiology Clinical Operations at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since 2018. During her tenure there, she managed over 260 employees and led projects that successfully expanded a specialty care clinic into a community hospital.

Her career in radiology spans 27 years at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, where she held various roles including Administrative Manager of Diagnostic Medical Imaging for multiple campuses.

Karff holds a bachelor’s degree in diagnostic imaging from Widener University and a master’s degree in diagnostic imaging along with a graduate degree in population health from Thomas Jefferson University. She is also pursuing a Doctor of Healthcare Administration program at Walden University.

In addition to her academic credentials, Karff is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiology, MRI, and CT. She is an active member of several professional organizations such as the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Association of Medical Imaging Management.
