March marks Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, prompting Temple Health and Fox Chase Cancer Center to organize a series of events aimed at promoting education, awareness, and prevention. On March 19th, an event was held at Temple University Hospital featuring a guided, interactive walk through a giant inflatable colon. This initiative allowed participants to gain insights into various colon conditions. Additionally, providers offered free FIT (fecal immunochemical test) kits.

The event received media attention from 6ABC, NBC10, and Telemundo62. Notably, Telemundo62's coverage included an interview with Dalia Mejia, who serves as a Bilingual Health Educator at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
