Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the MAC Freedom Women's Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Poll Friday, and the Arcadia University women's volleyball program was picked third with 50 total points and one first place vote. Defending conference champion Stevens claimed the top spot in the poll with 60 points and five of the nine first-place votes, followed by DeSales with 57 points and three first-place votes.

The new-look MAC Freedom features nine teams for the first time since 2008, as the Knights and Lycoming join from the Commonwealth side beginning this season. Arcadia opens the 2021 season on Wednesday, September 1 at Eastern - marking the first of nine-consecutive road matches to begin the season. The Knights return to Glenside on September 14 for their home-opener against MAC Freedom foe Lycoming at 7 p.m. from Alumni Gymnasium.
The 2021 MAC Freedom Women's Volleyball Championship is set for Nov. 1-6. The top-five seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
