Arcadia University Athletics issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.

The Arcadia University women's volleyball program completed a sweep of its five-match homestand - with all matches coming as three-set victories - in Wednesday night's win over Delaware Valley in MAC Freedom play. Michelle Frank paced the offense yet again with a match-high 13 kills while Estefania Martinez-Sola added 30 assists and a pair of service aces.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-The Knights raced out to a quick five-point lead in the opening set to take control early, but a 7-1 Aggie run cut the deficit to just three at 18-15. However, Arcadia bounced back in a big way to take the final seven points of the set to take a 25-15 victory as Nicole Dallara sparked the run with a kill and a pair of service aces.

-Delaware Valley rallied in the second set to take a 16-15 lead in the middle stages before a 6-0 Arcadia run followed by five-straight Aggie points saw the two sides arrive at a 21-all stalemate. Arcadia took advantage of a pair of Aggie errors before Dallara sealed the 25-22 victory with consecutive kills to give the Knights a two-set advantage.

-After the Aggies took an early one-point lead to open the third set, the Knights put the match away with a 14-1 run to take a 12-point lead, 18-6. Danielle Fedorchak, Danielle Doyle, Katie Paoli, Dallara, Frank, and Martinez-Sola all registered kills over that stretch while Mandy Singleton provided a service ace. Natalie Maston also logged an ace late in the set before Paoli capped off the Knights' fifth-straight victory with a kill on match point.
